Giving back to our brave soldiers through quality care and assistance
Fighting for one’s motherland takes up one’s physical and mental stability. So, after all their years of service, we want to give back to our Veterans through excellent care. Aid & Attendance (A&A) is a paid benefit in addition to monthly veteran pension and disability compensation. This benefit may also not be paid without eligibility to pension. A veteran may be eligible to avail of A&A when:
- The veteran is bedridden, in that their disability or disabilities require them to remain in bed apart from any prescribed course of treatment or recovery;
- The veteran is a current patient in a nursing home due to physical or mental incapacity;
- The veteran requires the aid of another person to perform personal functions required in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, attending to calls of nature, adjusting prosthetic devices, or protecting them from hazardous materials or areas in their living environment; or
- The veteran has lost their vision or is nearly blind as to have corrected visual acuity of 5/200 or less, in both eyes, or concentric contraction of the visual field to 5 degrees or less
